When Michele reached out about doing her & her family’s session at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, I was too excited! There are so many places even around areas that I have been dozens of times and each turn reveals new beauty that I haven’t seen before. <3

All four of these kiddos were fantastic…the three little men are triplets and were so well behaved and handsome. Their big sis was just gorgeous and I had so much fun chatting with them and wandering around Garden of the Gods.

Here is a peek from the recent session with this gorgeous family…

Last May, Bryce and I had the joy of capturing the wedding day of Sinikka & Alan in Indiana. It was an amazing day and after knowing Sini for several years, it was so special to watch her with the love of her life. Now, a year later, Sini messaged me a few weeks ago that her and Alan would be spending their  anniversary in Estes Park, Colorado and asked how close I was. <3

We picked an evening and Bryce & I drove to Estes Park to one of our now favorites spots, Mary’s Lake and spent the evening watching these two just love each other and have fun. We walked by the beach, climbed rocks and found an amazing field with a gorgeous mountain backdrop.

Enjoy some favorites from their session!

We had the pleasure photography Shannon & AJ’s wedding day. They were married at Mary’s Lake Lodge in Estes Park, Colorado, which is right on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park allowing for some gorgeous mountain views. The rain held off until right after the ceremony and we were able to capture some gorgeous views with the clouds rolling in. Shannon and AJ were both so down to earth and we had a great time with all of their guests during cocktail hour and the reception. We snuck away for a few minutes during the reception to drive down to Mary’s Lake to grab a few more shots at sunset. Right when we began the clouds broke a bit and allowed the sun to peak through just before setting behind the mountains. It was truly stunning.

Enjoy seeing some highlights of Shannon & AJ’s wedding day! <3

Family Session

South Valley Park is one of my very favorite shooting locations in the Denver foothills. And right now, the whole park is turning green. Soon, there will be flowers sprouting and birds chirping and colors galore. I am so excited for more spring and summer sessions  in this park!

My time here with the Anderson family was magical. All of the spring snow had melted and the park was starting to brighten up. Summer and Andrew are a precious couple and their kiddos are just the sweetest! Capturing growing families is the best.

How sweet are these two blondies? And soon, they will be welcoming a new sibling! Do you think the new little one will be blonde, too?

fresh 48 session

Fresh 48 Sessions are some of my very favorite. They take place in the hospital within 48 hours of the baby’s birth. These sessions are a precious way to capture the freshness and newness of the little one and those adoring interactions with new parents and older siblings. It is such a beautiful moment when a child meets his new sibling for the very first time. And, I love capturing that moment, those emotions and the expressions, so that the memory can last a lifetime.

It was such a joy to capture the Plunkett Family welcoming sweet Stella into the world. Those tiny pink fingers and toes, the pink and blue hospital nursery blankets, her little wristband :: I love these Fresh 48 moments. Levi was so excited to finally be a big brother! He couldn’t wait to see his new little sister for the very first time. How precious is this?!
