I love my return clients! The Porrazzo Family is darling and it’s so fun to see how much the kids have grown since my last session with them. I met them at Bear Creek Lake Park for a bright evening session. This park is one of my favorite locations near Denver because it changes with every season, and yet always looks so beautiful.

“The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing.” – Unknown

The kiddos were darling and clearly have their momma’s eyes. I loved spending the evening walking through the park and capturing all of the hugs and giggles. Baby boy’s smile just gets me every time.  And how sweet is this dress with the cowboy boots?!

I would love to capture your family in the Denver Metro Area! Email me at to set up a time.

“I think togetherness is a very important ingredient to family life.” – Barbara Bush

The holidays are always a special time for family gatherings, parties and celebrating the season. This Christmas season, I was privileged to spend time with this large extended family, whose everyday lives are spread all over the US. I met them at Dawson Butte Ranch in Larkspur, right outside of Castle Rock, Colorado, on the most beautiful December day. Just look at this sunshine!

Every family has their own dynamic, their own rhythm and their own energy. I loved getting to capture each of these individual families and their sweet glances. The kiddos were so cute with their darling matching outfits and each couple had so much love for each other. Having all of the generations together was so beautiful!

This family was so fun and all smiles for this sunny afternoon. Families are such a gift and I feel honored to capture these beautiful memories. Interested in getting the whole family together for an extended family session? Email me at to connect!

“As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen.” -Winnie the Pooh

I love when couples are up for an adventure. And all of this Colorado snow is the perfect excuse to escape into the mountains for a day or weekend. This entire session was so dreamy, from the faint falling of the snow to the sun lighting up the white landscape to the pop of color from the bouquet. And that gorgeous dress stole the show.

It’s moments like these that remind me how magical love can be. The earth seems to stand still when it is covered in snow and each movement is slow and meaningful. The gaze from one lover to another is more powerful against a backdrop of white and a sprinkle of adventure.

Whether it be for an elopement or a wintery anniversary session, I would love to capture your love in a magical way. Email me at and let’s plan an adventure!

It’s that time of year and my calendar is so booked with family sessions! To me, Washington Park is one of the most beautiful places in Denver. With walking paths, bike trails, lakes, pick-up volleyball or ultimate frisbee and countless geese, it is the perfect place to soak in all of the activities that Denver has to offer. When I’m not traveling for sessions, I love spending the evening at the park, going for a walk or playing volleyball with friends. So naturally, Wash Park sessions are some of my favorite!

These two brothers were absolutely darling, as were their sweet parents. I loved seeing the boys interact and play together, between photos. Their plaids popped so well against the greens of the park-scape, too. The littlest guy was so precious, watching his older brother with such admiration. Those baby blues and squinty-eye smiles? Take my heart away!

That face! The boys loved watching the geese play and swim around in the water. Oh, to be a kid again!

Capturing families in their everyday places makes for such special memories. Not to mention, the kiddos are usually more comfortable and natural in spaces they have spent time at before! With the arrival of fall, I have picked out some of my favorite Denver and foothills spots for family and engagement sessions. I can’t wait to show you more of the fall colors around town!

If you are interested in a Washington Park session or a family session in the fall colors, send me an email at! Fall sessions make for the perfect Christmas card, too!

Some of my favorite sessions are the ones with incredibly questionable weather. I met up with my great friends Josh and Kassandra and their precious son Asher at South Valley Park for an evening session. It was dark and overcast and we toyed with the idea of rescheduling but I’m so glad we didn’t! The cloudy skies contrasted so well against the iconic Red Rocks and the sun ended up peaking through towards the end, too.

Josh and Kassandra are so sweet and I loved spending time with these friends. Capturing friends in beautiful settings sometimes makes me forget that I am actually working. But I guess that is the sign that you love your job, yes?

Little Asher was so fun and had so much energy. This little two year old was all over the place! He loved running up and down the trails and exploring all there was to see. And his giggles were precious. What a photogenic little guy!

I would love to capture your family at South Valley Park or anywhere in the foothills. Let’s make some memories! Email me at to connect.
