“As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen.” -Winnie the Pooh

I love when couples are up for an adventure. And all of this Colorado snow is the perfect excuse to escape into the mountains for a day or weekend. This entire session was so dreamy, from the faint falling of the snow to the sun lighting up the white landscape to the pop of color from the bouquet. And that gorgeous dress stole the show.

It’s moments like these that remind me how magical love can be. The earth seems to stand still when it is covered in snow and each movement is slow and meaningful. The gaze from one lover to another is more powerful against a backdrop of white and a sprinkle of adventure.

Whether it be for an elopement or a wintery anniversary session, I would love to capture your love in a magical way. Email me at and let’s plan an adventure!

It’s that time of year and my calendar is so booked with family sessions! To me, Washington Park is one of the most beautiful places in Denver. With walking paths, bike trails, lakes, pick-up volleyball or ultimate frisbee and countless geese, it is the perfect place to soak in all of the activities that Denver has to offer. When I’m not traveling for sessions, I love spending the evening at the park, going for a walk or playing volleyball with friends. So naturally, Wash Park sessions are some of my favorite!

These two brothers were absolutely darling, as were their sweet parents. I loved seeing the boys interact and play together, between photos. Their plaids popped so well against the greens of the park-scape, too. The littlest guy was so precious, watching his older brother with such admiration. Those baby blues and squinty-eye smiles? Take my heart away!

That face! The boys loved watching the geese play and swim around in the water. Oh, to be a kid again!

Capturing families in their everyday places makes for such special memories. Not to mention, the kiddos are usually more comfortable and natural in spaces they have spent time at before! With the arrival of fall, I have picked out some of my favorite Denver and foothills spots for family and engagement sessions. I can’t wait to show you more of the fall colors around town!

If you are interested in a Washington Park session or a family session in the fall colors, send me an email at! Fall sessions make for the perfect Christmas card, too!

Some of my favorite sessions are the ones with incredibly questionable weather. I met up with my great friends Josh and Kassandra and their precious son Asher at South Valley Park for an evening session. It was dark and overcast and we toyed with the idea of rescheduling but I’m so glad we didn’t! The cloudy skies contrasted so well against the iconic Red Rocks and the sun ended up peaking through towards the end, too.

Josh and Kassandra are so sweet and I loved spending time with these friends. Capturing friends in beautiful settings sometimes makes me forget that I am actually working. But I guess that is the sign that you love your job, yes?

Little Asher was so fun and had so much energy. This little two year old was all over the place! He loved running up and down the trails and exploring all there was to see. And his giggles were precious. What a photogenic little guy!

I would love to capture your family at South Valley Park or anywhere in the foothills. Let’s make some memories! Email me at to connect.

I am constantly reminded that families are dear and precious, a gift to be cherished always. They may come in many shapes and sizes, but each is special and unique and a slice of love. This sweet family (Rachelle, Chris & Madeline) is from California and Rachelle is a super talented photographer. We met at Bear Creek Lake Park near the Denver foothills and were a little worried about evening showers! But the lighting was perfect with a mixture of hazy and sunny skies. It was so fun connecting with Rachelle about our favorite locations for photoshoots and techniques!

Chris and Rachelle’s daughter Madeline was super spunky and loved having her picture taken. I suppose that is one of the perks of having a photographer as a mom! Her poses were darling and I loved watching her twirl with her dad. And those eyes? She’s going to be a heartbreaker!

I would love to connect with you and your family for a photo session at Bear Creak Park or a nearby location in the foothills. Email me at to book your session!

When Michele reached out about doing her & her family’s session at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, I was too excited! There are so many places even around areas that I have been dozens of times and each turn reveals new beauty that I haven’t seen before. <3

All four of these kiddos were fantastic…the three little men are triplets and were so well behaved and handsome. Their big sis was just gorgeous and I had so much fun chatting with them and wandering around Garden of the Gods.

Here is a peek from the recent session with this gorgeous family…
